Description
Free Cut COB LED Strip gives shelving, alcoves and fitted furniture a continuous line of light that fits their exact dimensions. This ATOM LED 24V strip is 10mm wide and IP20 rated for dry interiors. Choose one of five white colours and a length from 1 to 10 metres.
Can I cut this COB strip anywhere?
Yes. This is genuine free-cut COB: it can be shortened at any point, rather than only at fixed cut marks. Disconnect the power before cutting and keep each continuous section within the 10m maximum. Reconnecting separate sections requires suitable termination.
Which white colour should I choose?
2700K gives the warmest appearance; 3000K is a softer warm white. Choose neutral 4000K for a balanced look, 5000K for daylight-style white or 6500K for the coolest finish. These are separate fixed-colour options, not a colour-changing strip.
What LED driver do I need?
Use a separate 24V DC constant-voltage driver. Calculate metres × 9W, add at least 25% to that load and select the next suitable driver rating. For example, 5m uses 45W; adding 25% gives 56.25W, so a 60W driver is a suitable starting point. Follow the driver's installation and loading requirements. Never connect the strip directly to mains.
How do I install it in a profile?
Choose an aluminium profile with internal space for a 10mm strip. Mount on a clean, dry surface using the 3M Tape backing, with accessible wiring and power supply. IP20 provides no water protection: avoid splashes, steam and wet locations.
