Built for installers who need light to turn a corner cleanly, the 10x10mm Side Bend LED Neon Flex — also sold as Horizontal Bend — bends flat across the surface to follow square 90° corners on a 3cm (30mm) minimum radius, so one continuous run traces the full edge of a patio, driveway, or garden border with no visible join. 48V DC, 144 LEDs per metre, IP67 — moulded from anti-yellowing, UV-stable silicone that holds up to UK rain, frost, and sun year-round for gardens, decking, and pergolas. A single 48V feed carries up to 25m (50m with power at both ends), and every length is custom cut to your exact requirement, ready to wire on arrival.

What is side bend (horizontal bend) neon flex?

Side bend neon flex bends flat across a surface and turns corners left and right rather than up and down. It holds a 90° corner on a 3cm (30mm) minimum bend radius, so one run wraps the full perimeter of a patio, driveway, or border. For up-and-over curves choose top bend; for both planes choose dual bend.

Where does side bend neon flex fit best?

• 90° corners and direction changes: turns square corners flat on a 3cm radius, so one run follows a full perimeter with no break.
• Outdoor and garden runs: IP67 handles rain, frost, and sun — gardens, borders, driveways, and water-feature surrounds.
• Pergolas, decking, and step edges: 48V reaches up to 25m single feed, or 50m dual feed, around outdoor structures.

Install notes

• Power feed: up to 25m from one side (single feed) on 48V, or 50m with power injected at both ends (dual feed). Split runs only beyond 50m.
• Driver sizing: total wattage × 1.2. A 25m run at 11W/m draws 275W — use a 48V driver rated 330W+.
• Bend radius: 3cm (30mm) minimum, tight enough for a square 90° corner. Tighter curves crack the LEDs inside the silicone.
• Cut points: cut only at the marked 8.33cm (83.3mm) intervals. If you cut it yourself, we cannot guarantee IP67 unless ATOM LED reseals the cut end.
• Standard: install by a competent person in accordance with BS7671.
