Our 48V LED Decking Lights are 6 × 12mm IP67 waterproof neon flex strips cuttable every 10cm (100mm), available in four white colour temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, and 6000K. Choose the colour temperature that matches your project — warm tones for hospitality and residential, neutral for retail and commercial, cool for security and task lighting.

48V DC operation delivers up to 40 metres continuous run from a single side, or 60 metres with dual-end power, with no visible voltage drop. The slim 6 × 12mm profile recesses cleanly into timber and composite decking boards, providing both ambient glow and step-edge safety lighting.

Choose your colour temperature

• Warm White 2700K: Cosy, candle-like glow. Best for residential decking, garden retreats, hospitality terraces, and outdoor seating where ambience matters more than visibility. Closest match to traditional incandescent tone.
• Warm White 3000K: Soft warm white — the most popular choice for UK residential and hotel exteriors. Works with both natural timber and composite decking. Slightly brighter feel than 2700K while still warm.
• Natural White 4000K: Clean, neutral white. Ideal for modern architectural decking, contemporary patios, and commercial outdoor spaces. Closest to mid-day daylight — renders colours naturally.
• Cool White 6000K: Bright daylight white. Best for security lighting, commercial entrances, retail terraces, and any space prioritising visibility and crisp edge definition over ambience.

Install notes

• Driver required: A DC 48V LED driver is needed (sold separately). Match driver wattage to total strip wattage with at least 15% headroom.
• Cut every 10cm only: Cut points are marked every 100mm. Cutting between marks breaks the circuit for that segment.
• IP67 rating: If you cut the neon flex yourself, the IP67 seal is broken at the cut end — reseal with a silicone end cap, or send back to UK LED Lights for factory resealing.
• Aluminium profile recommended: Use our 6 × 12mm IP67 profiles for protection, heat dissipation, and a clean architectural finish.
• BS7671 compliance: Should be installed by a competent person in accordance with BS7671 and Part P where applicable.
